Introduction
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2012 with the student intake of 60. The broad spectrum of courses under Anna University is taught by a group of highly-committed academic and supporting faculty. The Faculty members available in the department are specialized in all streams of Electrical and Electronics Engineering such as Power Systems, Embedded Systems Technologies, Power Electronics and Drives, Embedded control of drives, Control and Instrumentation and Applied Electronics. The department has well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines I & II, Electric Circuits, Electronics, Linear and Digital IC, Power Electronics, Control and Instrumentation, Engineering Practices and System Simulation.
