Dr. Maheswari R, Principal of Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, is an accomplished academic leader with over 24 years of experience in academia and industry. She specializes in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, and is a certified KNIME Data Analyst. She has published research in reputed journals and secured over ₹2 Crore in research grants from AICTE, ICMR, and DST. She has received several prestigious awards, including the Dr. Abdul Kalam Award (2024), Lifetime Achievement Award (2024), and Academic Excellence Award (2025). Dr. Maheswari R has established multidisciplinary Centers of Excellence, strengthened global collaborations with universities and industry partners, introduced new programs in emerging technologies, and actively promotes innovation, research, and internships with premier institutions such as IITs, CSIR, and ISRO, contributing significantly to academic excellence and institutional growth.

Director - Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology

Director of Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, has over 38 years of experience in academia and industry. He completed his B.E. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, M.Tech and Ph.D from IIT Madras. He served as faculty at IIT Madras and later worked in industry leading advanced technology development in System-on-Chip, embedded systems, and video streaming solutions. He also headed key research centers at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, including the Centre for Sponsored Research and the TIFAC-CORE Centre of Excellence in Machine Vision. His expertise includes Machine Vision, Embedded Systems, DSP, VLSI Design, and he has several research publications and funded projects from DRDO and DST.
