Electrical Machines Lab-I

• 10 batches (each batch of 3) of students can utilize the lab effectively at a time.
• The lab is utilized by EEE, ECE and Mechanical Engineering Students.
• The machineries in the lab includes - DC Shunt, Series and Compound Motors with belt load arrangements, Motor – Generator sets, Resistive Loads, BLDC Motor and Rectifier.

 Electrical Machines Lab-II

• 10 batches (each batch of 3) of students can utilize the lab effectively at a time.
• The lab is utilized by EEE, ECE and Mechanical Engineering students.
• The machineries in the lab includes- Synchronous Motors, Alternators (salient & non salient) Induction Motors (1 phase & 3 phase), Transformers (1 phase, 3 phase), Auto transformers (1 phase & 3 phase) and starters.

Electric Circuits and Electronics Lab

• 10 batches (each batch of 3) of students can utilize the lab effectively at a time.
• The lab is utilized by EEE students.
• The lab is equipped with RPS, CROs, Function generators, DSO and PCs for simulation experiments.

Linear and Digital IC Lab

• Maximum of 30 students can utilize the lab at a time.
• The lab is utilized by EEE students.
• The major equipment include CROs, Function generator, Digital IC trainer kit, IC testing kit, fixed power supplies and PCs for simulation experiments.

Power Electronics Lab

• Maximum of 30 students can utilize the lab at a time.
• The lab is utilized by EEE students.
• The major equipment include Thyristors characteristic kits, 1 phase converter and inverter, Triggering Modules (R, RC & UJT), Chopper Kits, IGBT kits, SMPS, 3 phase converter and Inverter and PCs for simulation experiments.

Control and Instrumentation Lab

• Maximum of 30 students can utilize the lab at a time.
• The lab is utilized by EEE students.
• The major equipment include PID kit, CRO, DSO, Function Generator ,Position Control Systems Kit, AC Synchro transmitter& receiver, R, L, C Bridge kit ,Electric heater, Pressure chamber, Air foot pump, LVDT, Strain Gauge Kit with Handy lever beam, Flow measurement Trainer kit, IC Transistor kit and PCs for simulation experiments.

Power System Simulation Lab

• Maximum of 30 students can utilize the lab at a time.
• The lab is utilized by EEE students.
• PCs with MATLAB simulation software.

Engineering Practices Lab

• Maximum of 30 students can utilize the lab at a time.
• The lab is utilized by all first year students.
• Study experiments such as fan, iron box and emergency lamp are conducted.
• The Lab is equipped with auto transformers, Megger, insulation tester, range finder, Energy meters, loads and Line detector.
