Placement Training

The Rajalakshmi Institute Of Technology is one of the best placement colleges in Chennai. Training and Placement are an integral part of the institute. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for the effective functioning of the cell. Our students have delighting successes to their credit & today our alumni are spread across the world creating wonderful solutions working for the best organizations. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes.

The Training and placement cell enhances the employability of the student by conducting specialized training in mathematical ability, aptitude skills, analytical skills, language skills, technical skills in addition to, on line placement mock tests. The recruitment training is conducted by professionals from in house resources as well as professional trainers from the corporate world. The training sessions are scheduled during the semester breaks in addition to crash courses during the start of campus placement season.

The Training and Placement Cell is organizing a premier event called residential Employability Training Program for the students who are ready to face the corporate world challenges. This program is completely offered with free of cost and every student looks forward eagerly to be part of this event.

This cell is headed by a Placement officer and a faculty member from each department is assisting the training and placement activities along with the student coordinators from various departments.

The main objective is to provide personal and career related support to the students with special emphasis on training the students on employability skills and ultimately providing placement in various Industries/Organizations by arranging campus recruitment drives.

The Training and Placement department extends its training to meet the high industry expectations. It also conducts special Campus Recruitment Training programs for the aptitude development of students. It organizes seminars to enlighten the students on placement activities, general requirements of the companies in which the students queries are also answered through an interactive session. It serves as a single point of contact for the Organizations on various Industry-Institute Initiatives like Campus Recruitment, Industrial Training, Guest Lectures, Faculty Development Programs, Alumni Lectures. In addition to this, the T&P Department provides guidance to students desirous of pursuing higher education in India and Abroad. It regularly conducts technical lectures, career development programmes, guest lectures on personality development, resume writing, group discussions and interview techniques and provide other inputs to make our students highly employable. Keeping in view the industry requirements, the training curriculum is designed for preparing the students as entry level Graduate Engineer Trainees.
