“Road Safety Rally and Saplings Distribution”

The RIT- YRC Club has planned Road safety rally and saplings distribution with green voice international organization and Traffic Police Chennai at Mylapore on 07/May/2022 at 8.30 am to 12.30 am. During the program, Shri. Dr. Sam Benett, Inspector of Police-Traffic, Greater Chennai discussed to our NSS and YRC club members in the title of Road safety and traffic awareness. RIT NSS and YRC volunteers making the road safety and traffic awareness programme to the people. The awareness rally programme starts from Mylapore Kutchery Road signal to Santhome church signal Chennai. RIT-YRC heartfelt thanks to The Vice Chairman, The Principal and Hod,s of RIT give the support and permission to conduct the event.


“Back to the Days !!”- Heritage Day and bringing artistic talent from school students

The RIT- YRC has planned the school event in the name of “BACK TO THE DAYS” at Panchayath Union Middle School, Maypoor Thandal Village on 30/04/2022 at 8.30 AM to 1.00 PM. During the event our NSS and UBA club members conducted about Heritage Day and bringing artistic talent from school students. Our club members conducted varies activities and events to the school students. The events are Drawing, Singing, and Dancing etc. Around 150 school students involved the different activities and events. Our NSS students distributed the prizes those are won the activities. Finally, NSS members of RIT conducted tree planting in school ground and gave notes about the importance environment and tree planting. RIT NSS club Coordinators helps to conduct the event in smooth manner. RIT-NSS heartful thanks to The Vice Chairperson, The Principal and Hod,s of RIT give the support and permission to conduct the event. RIT-NSS thanks to Headmistress and teachers, Panchayath Union Middle School, Maypoor Thandal Village gave the full support to conduct the event in smooth manner.


“Gift Few Drops” Blood Donation Camp- RIT Campus

A blood donation camp was organized by Youth Red Cross on 9th April 2022. It was held in the B0-02, Mechanical Block at RIT campus. The Chief Guest of the Camp was the “ANNAI TERESA BLOOD BANK AND APHRESIS CENTER”. A team of 5 doctors and nurses of Annai Teresa blood bank came for collection of blood. In this blood camp around 85 boys and 15 girls had volunteered for donating their blood. Also our college YRC volunteers were participated in this camp, and also donated enthusiastic blood. A Certificate of appreciation, donation card, and refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.




Good Touch and Bad Touch Speech - Kuthambakkam Village

The orator addressed the gathering regarding good touch and bad touch to the students of kuthambakkam higher secondary school. The event was very interactive and funfilled. Our orator spoke in a polite and interactive manner with awareness about the good touch and bad touch on peoples, and the way to communicate with the listener either through words and eye contact. We discussed with the school children about their ideas about their future and shared our experience on school life and present college life. We also gave them some ideas related to their future and the way to proceed their plans on their future. We even had some interactive session by asking every individuals about their future goals and the way they could achieve their goals. Refreshments were provided by the college.
