The campus has indoor facilities for Chess, Carom, Table Tennis, Badminton and out-Door facilities for Volleyball, Foot Ball, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi. We have one qualified Physical Education staff to train the students.

Students sent for participating in the Inter-Collegiate Sports and games have won many trophies in various events.
2018 - 2019Mr. G. Vineeth Prakash, ECE (3rd year), got selected and participated in the 73rd National Football Championship, South zone, Santhosh Trophy (2018-2019).
2018Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology conducted a state level RPL (Rajalakshmi Premier League) on 26th & 27th of October 2018. Football, volleyball, kabaddi and throw ball for girls were conducted. Almost 650 students participated and a special mention to Dharmapuri district team who participated and placed themselves in a good position, and it happened to be a successful event.
23 Sep 2018Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology organized a mini marathon event at Besant Nagar. The event became more memorable because of the presence of honorable chief guest Mr. M. Subramanian, Marathoner, MLA, former Mayor for Corporation of Chennai.
29 Sep 2018Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology organized the Anna University Zone-2 Kabaddi tournament for the very first time. Among 28 teams, our college secured 4th place. Mr. A. Alexander of final year Mechanical Engineering department and captain of our college Kabaddi team was honoured as the best player of the tournament.
2018The Dr. MGR trophy organized by Sathyabama University held at Jeppiaar Mammalan Engineering College. Our college cricket team secured 4th position and was led by our captain Mr. A. V. R. Apiyrupan, final year Mechanical Engineering department.
2019Mr. M. Prakash Kumar of final year ECE department participated in the National Level World Champion Sensei Mr. R. V. Vasanth Kumar 12th Memorial Invitational All India Karate Championship-2019 and won 1st place in Kata and Kumite.
Dec 2018Mr. R. Hariharan of 3rd year Mechanical Engineering department participated in the All INDIA Senior Ranking Badminton tournament conducted by Badminton Association of India held in Bangalore.
2018 - 2019Mr. K. Centhil Kumarn of 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student got selected and participated in the National level handball tournament held at Dindigul on behalf of Chief Minister Trophy.
Sep 2018Handball and ball badminton, our college teams had secured 3rd place which was held at Rajalakshmi Engineering College on 20th September and 11th September respectively.
2018Zonal events of football, cricket and basketball, our teams reached the quarters finals which was held at Jeppiaar Mammallan Engineering College, SVCE respectively.
2018Bharani Dharan of 2nd year, department of EEE led the team for the event ball badminton held at SA Engineering College for SA trophy, where our team placed a good position.
17 Mar 2019The ROTO OLYMPICS organized by District Rotract Council held at Nehru stadium, Chennai. Among 16 teams, our college Basketball team was placed as RUNNERS captained by Mr. J. Jacob Israel, final year ECE department.
