STEAM CLUB

STEAM Club of Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology focuses on activities based on a fun-based educational approach to learning that utilizes Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics as stimuli for shaping students' curiosity, passion and enriching experience. The club is releasing the videos on the latest techniques periodically. It also creates the online e-forum for the discussion on the emerging technologies. Also the club is conducting the hands on training to the students on 3D printing, robotics, scanning, virtual reality, etc.

IOT CLUB

The objective of establishing this "Centre for Internet of things" is to impart working knowledge in Internet of Things to all our students to train them at par with the requirement of the nation to become technocrats as well as entrepreneurs in IoT technology. Internet of Things (IoT) involves network of ''things'', embedded with sensors that can be identified, addressed and named, seamlessly connecting to the internet.

CAM CLUB

Centre for Advanced manufacturing club’s main focus is on group projects, in which the learners can analysis, design & manufacture the custom products using CAD software and 3D printing technologies. These projects range from recreational to life-changing like our fictitious hand. In addition to it, Robotics also supports with the resources and expertise to design, fabricate, assemble and simulate the kinematics of the robotics and need to pursue their own individual ideas. By the robotics lab, students will gain comprehensive knowledge on wide range of topics such as Basics of kinematics and degrees of freedom, Machine design, Transmission system, Electrical drives, Arduino programming, Interfacing of different sensors with micro-controllers and embedded programming.

TECHSPARKS CLUB

Techsparks club is committed to build the best learning experience for the aspiring students inside and outside, investing more time on strategies that can mould and enhance thinking skills, deliver programs that build connections for entire community and learn professional technology on the go. From technical progress to personality development, the club look into everything and manages to work as a team, in order to create a better tomorrow for themselves and the world of IT. The hands-on experience adds to the variety of event programs which are encouraging and resourceful in transforming the strident to Engineers.

LANGUAGE CLUB

The Language club is an ideal supplement to enhance the students in various languages such as English, Tamil, Japanese, German, etc. The Language club consists of additional events such as debate, quiz, elocution, etc with mixed student groups and allows communicating in a foreign language in an informal atmosphere. An Language Club is a place for language learners to use language in a casual setting. In an English Club, you get a chance to practice many different skills in a setting that is more like real life.

MATHS CLUB

The world is bound in the time span of Mathematics. It stands in an unimaginable boundary making us immerses us in awe. Maths paves way to make us think in special ways. The power of it creates turning point by solving unsolvable scientific components. This creator serves as a best tool in all fields of engineering. Our institution sensing the greatness of Mathematics and to make the students understand its importance has started the “Mathematics Club”. This club strives to bridge the gap between engineering and maths. The club acts as centre for creating awareness in mathematics for assisting engineering configurations. The main aim of the Maths club are to develop analytical, numeric and logical ability needed for all Science related fields. To develop superfast mental calculation skills which are much needed for solving aptitude. To teach Vedic formulae which can be applied to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, sets ,square root, cubic root, complex numbers, divisibility, algebra, calculus, differential calculus, quadratic equations ,trigonometry and Pythagoras theorem in very less time.

ROTARACT CLUB

The RIT rotaract club is the student club for the students, the purpose of Rotaract is to give an opportunity for young the student group to enhance the knowledge and skills, inturn it will assist them in their personal development and leadership in their carrer. Also the club supports to address the physical and social needs of their surrounbding society. The club activities are to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. The goals of Rotaract Club are to develop professional skills, leadership skills, ethical standards, dignity, etc. As it the youth team working under the sponsoring Rotary clubs, the club also supports the events carriedout by the Rotary.

YUVA CLUB

Young Indians (Yi) is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India’s future. As an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organization playing a proactive role in India's development process. Formed in the year 2002, Yi has created a platform for young Indians to work towards realizing a dream of a developed nation. It has a growing, inclusive membership across all geographies and demographics with over 2800 direct members in 43 chapters, and 19000 students YUVA members from colleges. The Yi membership includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21 and 45 years and comprises of entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life. Through thousands of impactful projects and activities divided primarily into three areas; "Youth Leadership", "Nation Building” and “Thought Leadership”, Yi hopes to emerge as the premier Indian youth organization having a voice on relevant platforms that work on solving India’s problems. Yi grooms its members for offices of significance and also enables Indian youth to converge, collaborate and co-create using an expanding digitally enabled network.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

The photography club of RIT named as NERD PIXS has been a very active and eminent club in the campus. The club comprises of students and faculty from all the departments. The club actively dedicated towards participating and took photography activities in various events. The club plays a major role in providing contents for the institution’s social media in the way of capturing the events that are held in the campus. The club further thrives to improve by having a dedicated art gallery to showcase the talents of the students and faculty.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CLUB

Women Empowerment Cell is established with the motto of “Helping women discover their wings“. The cell aims to empower girl students and faculty, to enhance their understanding of issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for girls and women and to address the practical issues related to the welfare and equal opportunities for Women faculty, staff and students. With a view to take up women’s issues and problems, the cell aims at creating awareness of their rights and duties. It also provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society. Added to it suggestions for improvement and empowerment among themselves has been given. Aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students, the cell stands for facilitating women’s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programs and other welfare activities.
