Highlights:

Workshop on Full Stack Development

Women in STEM (WiSTEM) organized full-stack development to enhance the skills of budding women engineers of RIT by training the girls in website development by introducing the fundamental concepts through hands-on training sessions in Lab. The workshop was conducted by the RIT Final year students to II year Students. It was organized as three days workshops.


Science Quiz

On December 18. 2021, WiSTEM cell has organized a Quiz Competition in offline mode for the female students of RIT. The theme of the day for the year 2021: To improve general knowledge and application level.



Innovative Idea Presentation competition

To celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on 11th Feb 2022, WiSTEM cell has organized an Innovative Idea Presentation Competition in online mode for the female students of RIT. The theme of the day for the year 2022: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Water Unites Us. (UN Sustainable Development Goal SDG 6)


Essay writing competition

On December 11.2 2022, WiSTEM cell organized an essay Competition in offline mode for the female students of RIT. The theme of the day for the year 2022: Role of science and technology in water purification and management.


Webinar

A Webinar event was held on 25.5.22 through online mode. Zoom link was shared through mail to the Students. The Program Started Sharply At 2.00pm. Dr.Nafeena Abdul Munaf was working as an assistant Professor in villa college of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Maldives. She Humbly Accepted the Invitation to give a webinar. She gave an excellent lecture on ‘sustainable development and life cycle analysis’. This was very helpful to got lit on the sustainable energy research ideas. 1hr duration was allotted for the webinar.
