LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS

Entry :

• Students are allowedinside the library only on showing their identity cards.
• No personal belongings allowed inside the library.
• Readers are not allowed with any book materials including books under circulation.
• Readers should sign in the Entry Register kept in the circulation desk.

• Membership forms are available in the counter.
• Readers can become member by enrolling with the membership form duly signed by the Principal and concerned Head of the Departments.
• Staff can Borrow five books and Students can borrow three books on presentation of their ID cards and retain with them for a fortnight. After that they can return or renew the book.
• Late submission of books will entertain a late fee of Rs.2/per day.
• If the books are lost, borrower should replace the books of the same edition or latest edition or pay double the cost of the book after getting permission from the librarian.
• Each student shall obtain No Dues certificate from the library after returning all the books issued, paying outstanding dues if any.
• Readers should take care of the books issued to them. They will be responsible for any damage or mutilation of the book, noticed at the time of return.

• Absolute Silence to be maintained in the section.
• No discussion permitted inside the self- reading section.
• Readers are not allowed to relocate the seats anywhere.
• Readers can use their laptops for their academic purpose only.

• Readers can sit in groups for discussion.
• On completing their discussion readers should set the chairs in their order.
• Discussion should be only on the academic purpose and not for any other things else.

• Reference books & Printed journals are not allowed for lending.
• No discussion permitted inside the reference section.

• In e-Journals section no reader will be allowed to go for social networks.
• Absolute Silence to be maintained in the section.
• Readers are advised to handle the systems properly and use them only for their academic purposes.

• Readers with their own books will be allowed only in this section.
• Readers should maintain self- discipline and should maintain absolute silence.
