B.E. Electronics Engineering – VLSI Design & Technology

Introduction

The four-year programme in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) is intended to produce graduates of engineering with a thorough understanding of integrated circuit designs, or chip design. Its goal is to produce competent graduates who understand the fundamentals of VLSI design, which is necessary for the VLSI domain industries. Graduates of this programme will gain a practical understanding of leading EDA (Electronic Design & Automation) tools as well as a thorough understanding of semiconductor devices, VLSI circuit design and verification, FPGA design, and fabrication process. Applications for the evergreen VLSI domain may be found in the fields of communications, signal and image processing, space research, and automation industry. It is used for the design and verification of electronics systems and circuits.
